Pokémon started in 1996. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori and became very popular. It began as video games for the Game Boy, but now includes cartoons, movies, trading cards, and toys. Pokémon are creatures that people, called Pokémon Trainers, catch and train to battle each other.
A small, electric-type Pokémon known for its adorable appearance and signature move, Thunderbolt.
A fire-type Pokémon that evolves into Charmeleon, famous for its fiery tail.
A grass/poison-type Pokémon that is one of the original starter Pokémon.
